Implementation of the main website of the German Association for Physiotherapy (ZVK) based on TYPO3 and Apache-Solr.
The website offers a therapist search, closed area, forum, market place, job exchange and many other modules. Later integration of the national association pages with their own areas in the same TYPO3 instance and accessibility via subdomains.

As a leading association with tens of thousands of members and more than ten regional associations, the German Association for Physiotherapy (ZVK) e. V. poses some challenges to the joint Internet presence.
Thanks to a comprehensive authorization concept, each regional association can independently import members and manage content in its own area, but content can also be shared.
Thus, the internet presence combines the advantages of an independent organisation of the regional associations with the added value and advantages of a common platform.
A Solr server with different indexes works in the background for a high-performance search and for the delimitation of the different areas. The therapist search can be used to easily find details about therapists and offered treatment methods by location.
In the job exchange or the market place, members and site visitors can post offers and search. For a fast distribution the co-ordinated Caching concept provides.
Further offers such as meetings, material order or the therapist forum offer an abundance at relevant information for members, who have additionally after the registration within the closed range access to federation-internal material.
